One of the things I do remember about Disneyland was that I got to "meet" some pretty unique characters. Although going to a Disney theme park will usually equate to getting a picture taken with the majors-Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and today especially, the Disney Princesses- I actually got to have my picture taken with Suzy, one of the mice friends who helps Cinderella get ready each morning.
While I opted against dining at the park's most deluxe restaurant, Napa Rose which is located in the Grand Californian Hotel, I have made reservations for us at the Wine Country Trattoria which I'm hoping will be a decent substitute, although obviously to a lower standard. It's billed as offering an ambiance that is reminiscent of the Napa Valley, an area I would much love to visit sometime in the future.
Needless to say, I'm hoping the upcoming work week goes by extremely fast because I am definitely in a Disney dreaming mood right about now. Even though I'm not five but rather 26 now, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a fabulous trip and can't wait to blog about it once I'm back.
