While I love oceans more than anything else, I also have a penchant for rivers. The beauty of a city is only magnified by the body of water that runs through it. Rivers are something I could stare at all the time. Whether it’s a sedate trickle or a rapidly moving stream, there’s something so calming and soothing about watching a river “pass by.”
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full.
Who hears the rippling of rivers will not utterly despair of anything.
-Henry David Thoreau
In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time.
-Leonardo da Vinci
How good are your travel skills? Can you identify the locations of these rivers?
