Visit my great-grandmother’s village in Poland and find out more about her family and siblings.
Visit the Hawaiian island of Moloka’i.
Get over my fear of altitude sickness and travel to Peru-DONE (2014)
Have a mojito in Cuba.
Revisit my former haunts in Spain, Costa Rica, and South Korea-the three countries I studied abroad in during college.
Rent a convertible and drive down the Overseas Highway to Key West.
Stay at the Chateau de la Chevre d’or Eze, a 5 star hotel that is located on the French Riviera.
Regain my fluency in the Spanish language and become semi-fluent (okay, advanced proficiency will suffice) in a third language. I’m thinking French or Portuguese.
Fly in business or first class…at least once.
Visit the Library of Congress-DONE (2013)
See Victoria Falls in Africa.
See Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brasil.
Take a mother-daughter trip.-DONE (2016)
Visit Monet’s house and garden at Giverny. I have wanted to go there ever since I read the book Linnea in Monet’s Garden as a child.
Stay in an overwater bungalow in French Polynesia.
Visit all of the Disney theme parks-still to do are Hong Kong Disney, Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disney
Get published. While technically I have (I interned at an English speaking magazine in Costa Rica and received a byline for two issues), I’d like to be published on a larger scale.
Take a balloon ride in the Cappadocia region of Turkey.
Swim in the Dead Sea.
Chase the Northern Lights, preferably in Iceland.
Return to Belgium and try moules (mussels). I was too scared the first time I visited.
Visit the World War I battlefield Gallipoli in Turkey. Here would be to you Dr. Rosensweig.
Visit Petra in Jordan.
Do the whole nine yards in Egypt-museums, pyramids, a Nile River cruise.
Visit the Auschwitz concentration camp.
Tour the Yad Vashem in Israel.
Visit the Galapagos Islands, swim with sea lions.
Go on an Alaskan cruise.
Take a cooking class abroad.
Walk/drive/bike some of the Camino de Santiago.
Go on a safari in Africa-any country with prime wildlife will do.
Play with pandas in Chengdu, China.
Visit Prince Edward Island (huge Anne of Green Gables fan).
Visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail-DONE (2013)
Grand Canyon.
Visit the famed antebellum mansions in Natchez, Mississippi.
Anne Frank House.
San Francisco.
See fjords in Norway-DONE (2014)
Visit the Rock of Gibraltar
Have afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong.
Visit Acadia National Park.
Guatemala-specifically Antigua, Tikal, and Lake Atitlan
