This past weekend D and I visited Cleveland, Ohio. He had been once before as a child but this was my first time there. It also was a minor milestone as I checked another state off my list of states visited (I would like to visit all 50 before I die).
Cleveland in many ways reminded me of Pittsburgh which isn’t too surprising since they’re only two hours apart; they’re both rust belt cities and they’re both extremely cold during the winter. Cleveland is definitely more spread out and sprawling while Pittsburgh on the other hand is more compact. The people we encountered in Cleveland were all extremely pleasant and nice and greatly embodied the famous Midwestern hospitality. We had some great meals and visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Museum of Art. I’ll be posting reviews of our trip soon but here are some pictures in the meantime.
