Friday Fun Facts-Morocco

Morocco is a country that I spent such a brief period of time in that a part of me feels it shouldn’t “count” and yet since I did eat couscous IN Morocco after all, it does count. In addition to its incredible cuisine, one of the other reasons I would like to return is that simply put, it looks like such a photogenic destination. Between its striking architecture, myriad of colors, and mesmerizing landscapes, I can only imagine how incredible it would be to spend a decent amount of time there.

-Numerous Hollywood films have been shot in Morocco including Gladiator, Sex and the City Two, and Lawrence of Arabia.Β

-Morocco is about the same size as the state of California. The towering Atlas Mountains are what separates the temperate coastline from the harsh Sahara Desert.

-The Kasbah in the port city of Tangier was built in the 17th century and is an area of narrow winding streets.

And if you’re like me and wanting to go there, well here’s a pretty cool package deal.
For me, one day…
