Glorious Green-an international photo essay

My participation in the Capture the Colour photography contest from last summer (you can see my submissions by clicking here) inspired me to create posts on multiple photos of just one color. I decided to start with green since it’s one of my favorite colors, various hues of it and all!

Patio de los Naranjos (Court of the Oranges)-Seville, Spain

A dish at Remy, an exclusive French restaurant
on the Disney Dream Cruise Ship

The Colosseum-Rome, Italy

A street in Colonia del Sacramento-Uruguay

Garden of Remembrance-Dublin Ireland
(while obviously there is a lot of green in this photo I specifically chose it for
the green in the flag of the Republic of Ireland)

  1. These are all amazing! The Seville and Dublin photos are my favorite but they are all stunning!

  2. Many thanks! It’s always hard to find photos that go for the more subtle use of the color. I have to agree-Seville will always have my heart and the Remembrance Garden was actually the last sight I visited when in Dublin. Even though it wasn’t “away away” from the crowds of the city you could still feel a sense of peace and quiet there.
