Today D and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary. A year ago on an incredibly hot and humid day in Pittsburgh, we were married at Heinz Chapel followed by an incredible reception at the Pittsburgh Golf Club (two of history’s most famous robber barons-Henry Clay Frick and Andrew Mellon-were among its early members).
So in keeping with the theme of the blog I thought I would share some of the places D and I have traveled together in the time we’ve known each other:
Central Mexico (Cuernavaca and Mexico City)
On top of the Pyramid of the Sun at the Aztec ruins of Teotihuacan
Chicago (our favorite city in the United States)
Medieval city of Brugge
Asheville, North Carolina
Chimney Rock State Park
And of course on our wedding day:
Happy Anniversary D-here’s to many more years of travels together
