Hawaii-a sneak peek

Well, contrary to what I said before I left, I unfortunately wasn’t able to post any Hawaii photos due to forgetting the cable that would allow me to transfer photos from my camera to my ipad. And while it may come as shocking to some, I am probably the only 20-something in the world who does not have (and really doesn’t want) a smart phone. My feelings on smart phones can be saved for another post or two (I have a lot of them) but I feel that smart phones are just obnoxious in many ways-people no longer walk their dogs without being on their phones; people no longer go out to restaurants without being on their phones the entire meal; and in regards to travel, people no longer take in the majesty of a certain place without being on their phones, usually doing something as stupid as texting or being on the Internet.

But, this post is not meant to be a diatribe against smart phones. No, it’s meant to give you a sneak peak of the gorgeous Hawaiian island of Oahu. I hope to have a first impressions post later this week (once I kick the nasty thing known as jet lag for good) but for now…
