Sintra’s National Palace-a photo essay

Portugal has been on my mind a lot lately-the language, the warmth (okay, the blistering heat), the sights. I was only there for a week last summer but it was a terrific week that definitely made me want to explore the country more some day-to visit the sights I missed in Sintra and Lisbon as well as the places I didn’t get to like the Algarve and Porto. While I blogged about Sintra before in posts here, there are still a ton of photos I took of the National Palace I never shared. So enjoy!

Although it’s hard to see, those are the remains of the incredible Moorish Castle in the distance

Thanks for commenting! The Sintra region was so beautiful, I only wish I had had more to explore.
