Street Signs From Around the World-a photo essay

Streets signs are something I have a love/hate relationship with. I love them because they’re unique and often a beautiful representation of the destination you’re visiting.  But I also hate them when they’re extremely nondescript and serve of no help to you when needing to find your way. (I grew up in a city where street signs were “front and center” as in there had to be something wrong with you to miss them. I am just not a fan of those that are on the sides of buildings and as you’ll see from my pictures below, well what I grew up with is quite the exception.) Or in the case of San Jose, Costa Rica, you can have no street signs at all which makes for a very aggravating of a time.

Sevilla, Spain
Paris, France
Brussels, Belgium
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
New Orleans, Louisiana (USA)
Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay
Lisbon, Portugal
Nelis Dutch Village (Holland, Michigan)
Montreal, Canada
Indiana, Pennsylvania (USA)

Ha, yes. There are plenty of cities I wish I had pictures of street signs from, mostly though the more exotic ones like South Korea, Morocco, and Mexico!
